The Vincentian values they learned at St. John’s University continue to inspire Greg and Susan Hendrick in all that they do. Together and separately, they have prioritized philanthropy and volunteerism in their lives.
Greg has spent 32 years in the Insurance and Reinsurance industry, eventually being named Chief Executive Officer of AXA XL, a subsidiary of global insurance and reinsurance company AXA, with $20 billion in revenue and nearly 10,000 employees. Never forgetting his St. John’s roots, Greg has served on the Board of Advisors for The Peter J. Tobin College of Business and Board of Governors for the School of Risk Management. With both his father and stepmother having taught at St. John’s for decades, Greg finds it impossible to let go of his basketball season tickets.
Susan was a very successful leader at Merrill Lynch, eventually transitioning into a full-time mother to their two children, Scott and Peter. Today, she devotes a large amount of her time to fundraising for schools whose focus is children with learning differences, both in Bermuda and Connecticut.
